The Taj Mahal is only available from the 27th? In the article is stated from this Friday?
So this list of discounted sets isn't complete? There'll be some other "mysterious" sets with 20% drop?
^^ Corrected, thank you.
Here's hoping Canada will receive similarly good deals!
Good for everyone getting deals but I always thought this Black Friday was a strictly US thing :p
Another thing comes to mind... so for this weekend Lego will match all others retailers normal pricing :)
No. Sometimes retailers charge above the Lego recommended retail price (e.g. Argos). Everything from Lego shops comes with an effective 5% discount with the VIP points. Some sets, such as the Creator Expert Modular Buildings, are hard to find in retail stores and I have not seen them discounted - they are cheaper at Lego than on Amazon UK.
Great, Big Ben and Brick Bank are on my want list so this’ll be my chance to get them. My poor wallet this week...
I get 20% all the time because of a relatives discount at their job so nothing for me. Still debating if I need the Nutcracker or not. I have two sets left but I would need to spend 25€ more on a random set I don't need/want. 25€ is a bit too much for the Nutcracker. I guess those 65€ go to my fund for my Christmas gift for myself.
wonder why UK/EU don't get free shipping on all orders like USA/CA are getting
^ In my experience, free shipping with Yodel is pants so it pays to have at least Royal Mail delivery
Disappointing. They would have to slash prices 40-60% to compete with the cheapest retailers for non-exclusive sets. 20% off just doesn’t cut it. This is only worthwhile if you need the exclusive freebies or Big Ben. I had hoped that they would have rebates on exclusives like in 2016.
I waited for free shipping and double vip points and all i got for my country is 20% off which in most cases means that the lego shop price is on par with everyday price in supermarkets...
Ugh. Was at least hoping for double/triple points for ninjago city. Kind of at a loss now.
I found the 76052 Classic TV Series Batcave to be the most interesting bargain at 174.99 Euro in Germany.
Had always thought I might get this one day, but at 249.99 Euro RRP it seemed to steep for my liking. Especially as this was/is one of the few sets that you can only get at LEGO.com over here.
Lego Death Star looks to be the bonus -20% set on Friday
@ Kjellevirus - The Joker Manor is available from Friday, Taj Mahal is available from Monday.
@ parsom - Yes, there will be 4 further sets with 20% mark apart from the one mentioned in the article. For Friday its a Death Star, so there are 3 more sets to go!
@thor96 and Cobyhectic - wait for December, I heard a very strong rumour that on the weekend of 22-24 December LEGO is considering a double VIP points ( as Brick Dangerous mentioned) with each purchase and a Modular Building announcement (It's a Diner if anyone is wondering,I seen a picture of it). Also, in end of January the Millenium Falcon should be back and again with double VIP points.
